Films of big actors like Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn are also being released on the OTT platform. Now, amidst all these, Bollywood veteran Naseeruddin Shah gave an interview to the famous film journalist.
In this interview, he said that "He suspects that when Salman Khan's films are released on the OTT platform, people will play applause and whistles and react as they used to do in the cinema hall." Recently he said "It will be interesting to see if Salman Khan's films are released on the OTT platform, will his fans whistle, clap, dance on the streets in the same way as they make noises in theatres. I doubt it".
He also said, "I am very optimistic about this OTT platform. This platform has inspired the budding young filmmakers to work on good films in which they can do good films without any stardom even with a small budget without any hesitation. Good films which used to be buried under commercial films, will probably not happen now and budget films like 500 crores will be passed. It will be really fun to see how the response of Salman's films gets".
