She has not been active on Twitter since then. These days, star kids like Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Ananya Pandey are being trolled on social media. Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha said in an interview to a news portal that "There have been many changes in my life when I stay away from Twitter and I felt better".

Apart from this, she also said, "I have no plan to return to Twitter." During this, Sonakshi Sinha kept her side on the debate of nepotism and also took a jibe at Kangana Ranaut. She said, "She is surprised that a woman is talking about Nepotism whose sister is managing her work. She does not give importance to this matter at all". Kangana Ranaut's entire work is looked after by her sister Rangoli Chandel and she is also the manager of Kangana. Apart from this, Sonakshi Sinha talked about her father.

She said that "My father never called any producer to give me work. 'Dabangg' was also offered because my family knows Salman Khan's family, but it was not enough. The makers felt that I am fit for this role and because of this, they offered me the film".
