Although Bobde did not name the encounter in Hyderabad on Friday morning, his direct reference was towards the events related to Hyderabad. The recent incident in the country can be the subject of a big debate. He said that justice cannot be done in the spirit of revenge. He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of the new building of the Rajasthan High Court main bench in Jodhpur.

In his statement he said that some people believe that criticism is necessary but criticism hurts the systems. Along with this, the CJI said “I do not think justice can ever be, or ought to be, instant, and justice must never ever take the form of revenge. I believe justice loses its character of justice if it becomes revenge,”

He suggested that mediation should also be included in the curriculum in all law colleges of the country. By doing this, people will get quick justice. At the same time, he also stressed on the inclusion of technology in the courts. He said that many works have been simplified in the Supreme Court through Artificial Intelligence.
