The Election Commission of Arunachal Pradesh has decided to temporarily stop the municipal and panchayat elections. While the Commission announced that elections will be held in April-May this year, the date for this has not been fixed yet. With this, Hage Kojeen, the election commissioner in the state, said, "If elections are held then more people will gather, campaigns will be held and rallies will start across the state."
