The foundation stone of Army Building was laid today in the capital of India. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the world's third-largest army, the Indian Army, are going to get their new headquarters. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will do the ground worship of the new building in Delhi Cantt. This building will be known as 'Thalasena Bhavan'. According to some media reports, it is believed that this building will be completed in the next year.

Before that, a multi-faith prayer was also organized at the foundation stone ceremony of the Army Building in Delhi. Citing media, Army officials have informed that about 7.5 lakh square meters of the area will be built to house the office complex and parking in the proposed structure of the new Army Building in Delhi.

A total of 6014 offices will be constructed in this building, which will establish offices for both military and civilian and 4330 sub-staff for 1684 officers.
