The arrest of former Union Minister P Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram was postponed till August 9. He has been relieved by the court. In a notice sent to Karti Chidambaram by ED, he has been asked to handover the entire property within 10 days. The cases are being investigated by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Both the investigating agencies had asked the court to postpone the hearing on P Chidambaram's anticipatory bail plea. The ED had sought a date from the court for the last week of August for hearing in the case.
