Recently, Dr. JS Oberoi, the founder of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust has said that on the 550th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Trust will establish Guru Nanak Chair at Punjab University Lahore. Also, Gurudwara will provide state-of-the-art machines for making the dough, making pedas, cooking prasad and cleaning utensils from Sri Kartarpur Sahib for langar service.

In his statement, he said that a research center will be set up under the Guru Nanak Chair at Punjab University Lahore, where seminars were conducted to promote and propagate Guru Nanak Dev's teachings, philosophy, and research, including Gurbani. For this, the trust will deposit a fixed amount in the bank, whose annual interest will be around 35 to 40 lakh rupees, it will be put into this work. Scholarships will be given to students belonging to economically weaker sections.

Apart from this, Dr. Oberoi further said that after installing state-of-the-art machines for langar at Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib, the trust will also provide similar machines at Nankana Sahib and Panja Sahib. In order to use these machines properly, the Trust will also train four persons at their own expense by taking them to Dubai.
