Tamil Nadu and Haryana have managed to book their places in the final of the Hockey India Senior Men's National Championship here on Saturday with easy wins in the semi-finals. Haryana won the first semi-final against Maharashtra 5-2 while Tamil Nadu defeated Karnataka 3-0 in another match of the last 4.

For Haryana, Deepak (21st, 50th), Deepak Kumar (12th), Ravi (27th) and Pankaj (45th minute) scored goals while for Maharashtra, both the goals have been scored by captain Taleb Shah (24th, 52nd). The first half of the match between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka was goalless.

After which J Joshua Benedict Wesley (44th), Sundarapandi (50th) and Saravan Kumar (54th) scored goals for Tamil Nadu. The final is scheduled to be played on Sunday. Maharashtra and Karnataka are scheduled to play the playoff matches for the third and fourth places earlier.
