In India, less than 60 thousand coronavirus cases have been reported for the second consecutive day, and during this time around nine lakh, sample investigation has been done. According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry, 55 thousand cases have been reported on one day and 876 people have died. Eight lakh 99 thousand 864 sample tests were conducted. According to the Health Ministry, 27 lakh two thousand 743 cases of corona have been reported so far in the country. Out of these, one lakh 73 thousand 166 are active cases. 19 lakh 77 thousand 780 patients have recovered and 51 thousand 797 people have died. The recovery rate is 73.18 percent and the death rate is 1.92 percent.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 3 crore 9 lakh 41 thousand 264 samples have been tested so far. Testing is growing very fast. The number of testing has crossed 3 crores on Monday. One crore of these tests has taken place during the last two weeks. In India, one crore people were tested till 6 July and 2 crore samples were tested by 2 August.

The corona cases in Maharashtra have exceeded six lakhs. After a spurt of the last few days, only a few thousand cases were reported on Monday. The total number of cases in the state has increased to 6 lakh four thousand 358 with 8,493 new cases. So far 20,265 people have lost their lives and 4 lakh 28 thousand 514 patients have been cured. In Tamil Nadu, there have been three lakh 43 thousand 945 cases with 5,890 new cases. There are 54 thousand 122 active cases here and two lakh 83 thousand 937 patients have become healthy. 5886 people have died. A record 1,725 new cases were reported in Kerala. With this, there have been 46,140 cases and 169 people have died. There are 15 thousand 946 active cases here. 30 thousand 025 patients have become recovered and 169 people have died.
