Let us tell you that Neeraja was the attendant of Pan Am flight on 5 September 1986. Tickets were all booked and people were going from Mumbai to America with this plane. In Karachi, Pakistan, the aircraft was hijacked by four armed men. His attempt was to target the Americans. When the Pan Am flight-73 was hijacked in Karachi, the aircraft had a total of 380 passengers. The hijackers wanted to take the plane to Israel and their intention was to crash with a building.

Let us tell you that as soon as you get the information of the hijack, the pilot and the co-pilot escaped after saving their lives. But Neerja continued to save the lives of others by staying till the end of the plane. He lost his life in this accident. With confidence, the beautiful Neerja showed courage and bravery. On September 7, only a few hours left of the 23rd birthday that Neerja was gunned down by the terrorists.
