National Nutrition Week starting from today confers awareness about 'First Happiness Healthy Body'

We have often heard from our elders that the first happiness is a healthy body, that is, if there is one of the greatest pleasures of life, it is to stay healthy. But in a healthy place, it is necessary to first focus on eating−. Many diseases will not even touch you if your body's nutritional needs are satisfied. But in India, many people are not aware of these nutritional needs of the body and therefore, national nutrition week is observed every year from 1st to 7th September in the country to stimulate them.

State that National Nutrition Week (NNW) is an annual nutrition program organized by the Food and Nutrition Board under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. This nutrition week is observed between September 1 and 7 every year. This week highlights the importance and role of adequate nutrition for the human body. A balanced diet with a combination of essential nutrients and calories is important for the smooth functioning and development of the human body.

National Nutrition Week was started in 1982. It was launched by the Food and Nutrition Board in 1982 and since then it is celebrated across the country in the first week of September. NNW is celebrated with the objective of spreading awareness on the importance of nutrition for health which has an impact on development, productivity, economic development, and ultimately national development.
