On the other hand, PM Modi has attacked the opposition strongly about the Citizenship Amendment Bill. He said that some opposition parties are speaking the language of Pakistan on this bill. News agency ANI quoted sources as saying that they said this in the meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party. Earlier, the PM said that this bill will be written in golden letters for the persecuted people on the basis of religion. This is a historic bill.

Apart from this, Lalu's RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav protested against the Citizenship Amendment Bill in Patna. He called the Citizenship Amendment Bill unconstitutional. It is clearly written in the Constitution of India that the country cannot be divided on the basis of religion. Some JDU leaders are raising questions after this bill is passed in the Lok Sabha.
