Amritsar: Senior Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has been constantly attacking Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. Sidhu once again launched a scathing attack on Captain Amarinder on Thursday saying that he himself was responsible for not firing a gun on the shoulders of party colleagues.

Sidhu tweeted: "Tomorrow and today, my soul's demand is insaf for Guru Sahib, tomorrow will repeat it too! Punjab's conscience is above party lines, stop firing guns by placing it on the shoulders of party colleagues. You are directly responsible and accountable - who will protect you in the court of the great guru?" Earlier, four Punjab ministers had repeatedly demanded suspension of Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu from the party on Wednesday for targeting CM Amarinder Singh, alleging that the Former Amritsar MLA may have done so under the influence of aap or BJP.

Earlier, three ministers - Brahma Mohindra, Sundar Sham Arora and Sadhu Singh Dharmasot - had appealed to the top Congress leadership to take "disciplinary action" against Navjot Sidhu for "rhetoric" against CM Amarinder.
