New Delhi: Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu has once again sought permission from Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to attend the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor. He has written a letter to the External Affairs Minister for the third time. Earlier, he had sought permission from S Jaishankar and Punjab CM Capt Amarinder. In this regard, Sidhu has written a letter to both the leaders.

Sidhu wants to attend the opening ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor in Pakistan. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Kartarpur corridor on 9 November. Pakistan's PM Imran Khan sent a special invitation to Navjot Singh Sidhu to participate in this program. On Sidhu's invitation, the Ministry of External Affairs had said that Sidhu would have to seek political approval to go to Pakistan.
