Amritsar: The name of CM Face for Punjab assembly elections is likely to be announced at the proposed Congress rally in Ludhiana on February 6. Earlier, Punjab congress unit president Navjot Singh Sidhu has hit out at Channi after chief minister Channi's nephew was arrested in a sand mining case. On the other hand, MP Manish Tewari has taken a dig at the Congress high command after being dropped from the list of star campaigners for the Punjab elections.

In an interview, Sidhu said about the CM's post that any chief ministerial candidate should have the support of at least 60 MLAs. At the same time, he said that we need an honest candidate. Your destiny depends on what you choose. A mafia person cannot implement your programs. How can a person who saves the mafia himself, tighten the screws on the mafia?

At the same time, he said that for the choice of any CM, there should be the moral authority and a track record of 17 years. At the same time, he said that I cannot call myself a CM candidate. But how many people do you see, who are celebrities and have won six elections? Only the people can elect the CM. The voice of the people is the voice of God. I can say that I have not taken the contract of the world.
