We are all aware that Navratri is very important in Hinduism and this year, Sharadiya Navratri is starting from 29th September on Sunday. In such a situation, during these 9 days of worshipping Goddess Durga, there is a law to worship their different 9 forms and special thing is that in these nine days, the devotees of the Goddess Durga wear dresses of different colours. Shailputri- The first day of Navratri is of Pratipada and on this day, Shailputri is the first form of Maa Durga, devotees should wear yellow clothes.

Brahmacharini- On the second day of Navratri, devotees should wear green clothes while worshipping Brahmacharini.

Chandraghanta- On the third day of Navratri, devotees should wear grey clothes while worshipping Chandraghanta, the third form of goddess Durga.

Kushmanda- Orange should be worn while worshipping Kushmanda, the fourth form of Goddess Durga, on the fourth day of Navratri.

Skandmata- On the fifth day of Navratri, devotees should wear white clothes while worshipping Goddess Skandmata.

Katyayani- It is said that the sixth form of goddess Durga is Mata Katyayani and one should wear red clothes while worshipping her.

Kalratri- Mata Kalratri should be worshipped on the seventh day of Navratri, wearing blue clothes.

Mahaguri- Ashtami the day of Mahagauri, devotees should wear clothes of green colour.

Siddhidatri- On the ninth and last day of Navratri, worship Goddess Siddhidatri wearing purple clothes.
