Another film by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has the potential to replace the actor Irrfan Khan on the big screen, will soon be released. The film may be released directly on OTT on Gandhi Jayanti next month. Interestingly, people got information about the film 'Serious Man' when Nawazuddin started discussing his dream of working with director Sudhir Mishra. Ishaan Khattar and Ananya Pandey's 'Khali Peeli will also be released on Gandhi Jayanti.

On OTT, Sudhir Mishra was given a big opportunity by Applause Entertainment to direct the Israeli series 'Hostages'. In the second season, the company decided to replace Sudhir Mishra with his cinematographer Sachin Krishnan as director. Nawazuddin spoke about his dream of working with Sudhir Mishra only during the discussions about the release of 'Hostages 2'.

According to media reports, this discussion was about his long-pending film 'Serious Man', and this is not a new film. This film has been on board for a long time. Parts of it have also been shoot in the COVID period. The film stars Nawazuddin alongside Akshat Das, Shweta Basu Prasad, Nassar and a new actress Indira Tiwari will be seen in it. The film is based on Manu Joseph's novel.

Regarding the release of 'Serious Man' on OTT, Nawazuddin says, "This is my third project with Netflix and whenever I have a project on this OTT, I feel like I have returned home. My 20-year dream of working with Sudhir Mishra is being fulfilled by the release of this film." Ishaan Khattar and Ananya Pandey's 'Khali Peeli' is also being released through Cineplex on G5 on Gandhi Jayanti.
