Dantewada: Naxalites killed two youths on suspicion of being police informers

Dantewada: Naxalites killed two youths on suspicion of police informers in Kirandul area of Dantewada district of Bastar Division. Both these youths were coming back to the village after the engagement of a friend, during which the Naxalites took them hostage. This is the first time in Bastar that the Naxalites of Bijapur have killed the youths of Dantewada. After carrying out the incident, the Naxalites left the form and claimed responsibility for the murder.

According to the police, Ashok Kunjam and Bandra Kunjam, residents of Hiroli Dokapara of Kirandul police station area, had gone to Dauri Kumarnar village in Bijapur in the engagement of a friend. All these people had reached the village of Kumarnar on Wednesday night after walking about 30 km through the forest route from Kirandul. According to the police, when they were returning to their village on Thursday after the engagement, Naxalites came in front of them in the forest of Hiroli and Dokapara village.

During this period, the Naxalites started beating them considering the news of the police. Two youths died and others were injured in the incident. Villagers transported the bodies of both the youths to Kirandul and informed the police. Police has also recovered a Naxalite form from the spot. In which the Gangalur Area Committee has alleged that the two youths were the news of the police. The SP of Dantewada is responsible for this incident.
