Nayanthara’s shocking revelation about casting couch in South Industry

  One of the most loved actors in the Tollywood Industry Nayanthara was last seen in the horror film Connect, which was released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The actress in a recent interview opens up on the casting couch in the industry. The actress enjoyed a massive fan following and has built her name in the entertainment industry.

The south sensation speaking about her journey said, “There is so much that I have learned, so much that I have gone through, but it is all been nice. Whatever mistakes I have made, the good and bad phases (I have been through), everything is good now. It is all a learning experience. It is not easy to be in the industry for 18-19 years, but the audience and God has been kind to me. I feel blessed. I don’t know how to put the whole thing together (in words)."

She further spoke about the casting couch existence in the industry, “I admit that it exists in the Telugu film industry but I never had to face it because I was straightforward forward I was never exploited. I have always been straightforward and frank. The actress should decide whether they want the easy ways and less fame or harder ways and sustain for a long in the entertainment industry.”

She further opens up about her husband-filmmaker Vignesh Shivan said, “I feel like I don’t have to worry about anything anymore. If anyone criticises me or even during any kind of bad situation, if he is with me, it will all be fine. To know that ‘whatever happens he will take care’ is a big thing.”

On the work front, She was last seen in Connect. The film has been directed by Ashwin Saravanan. A lockdown horror-thriller, the film features Nayanthara in the role of a mother who has to take care of her daughter who’s been possessed by a spirit. The film also stars Vinay Rai and Anupam Kher in key roles. Nayanthara is making her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, which also marks the Hindi debut of filmmaker Atlee Kumar. It will release in theatres in June.
