New Delhi: Ahead of the release of the alleged smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been spotted on two certification websites. The next flagship lineup from the South Korean tech giant is expected in February 2023.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are reportedly part of the lineup. Recently, the top-of-the-line Ultra was spotted on the TENAA database.

Now, it appears that the standard Galaxy S23 Ultra has been spotted on the certification websites for the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and NBTC in Thailand.

According to a report by SamMobile, a Samsung phone with model number SM-S911B/DS has reportedly appeared on the NBTC database.

The alleged Galaxy S23 moniker for the smartphone is said to be confirmed by this listing. The same model is also searched in BIS database. Unfortunately, these listings do not provide any information about the specifications of the upcoming handset.

Earlier, the Samsung SM-S911B/DS—possibly the Galaxy S23—was spotted on the FCC certification website. This suggests that the smartphone may receive a minor battery capacity upgrade.

There is a possibility that the battery of Galaxy S23 will be of 3,785 mAh. Recall that the battery capacity of Galaxy S22 is 3,700mAh.

Samsung is expected to hold the Galaxy Unpacked event in the US in the first week of February next year. This could be the first live launch event of the South Korean tech giant since the pandemic. It is possible, according to rumors, that San Francisco will host it.

As per rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S23 will record 8K videos at 30 frames per second. In contrast, the Galaxy S22 can capture 8K videos at 24 frames per second.

Additionally, it is claimed that the rumored device will support sensor-shift OIS. It is speculated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. As per earlier rumours, the smartphone could feature a 6.1-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate.
