Mumbai: Under dramatic developments in Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis sworn in as the CM and Ajit Pawar as deputy CM, on which NCP chief Sharad Pawar, said it was a personal decision of Ajit Pawar and not of  Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). In the afternoon, Sharad Pawar will hold a press conference with Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.

Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has also said that "Ajit Pawar backstabbed in Maharashtra case, Sharad Pawar has nothing to do with it. This deception has happened to people  and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj of Maharashtra."

At the same time, senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has said that 'What I have read about Maharashtra is true, I thought it was fake news.
