In a press conference held in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) about this demonstration, Special Police Commissioner Praveer Ranjan said that Delhi Police will do everything which will be necessary for peaceful elections. The police are constantly talking to the protesters and efforts are on to convince them. On the initiative of CEO Dr. Ranbir Singh, many company forces have been called for election from outside. Those who will be deployed in other sensitive areas including Shaheen Bagh. Three such areas have also been identified, where the DCP will march with the police force itself. There will be a total of 2680 polling stations and 15750 booths in Delhi. According to the CEO's office, a total of 3706 polling booths have been declared very sensitive in 516 places.
