Hearing the petition of Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the Central Investigation Agency. Kuldeep Singh Sengar filed a petition in the Delhi High Court after being sentenced to life imprisonment in the gang-rape case. At the same time, the Delhi High Court on Friday gave 60 days to Kuldeep Singh Sengar to deposit an amount of Rs 25 lakh for compensation. Let us tell you that MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is serving life sentence in Unnao Collective case, has challenged the decision of Tis Hazari Court.

In the Unnao gang rape case on December 20, the Tis Hazari court of Delhi sentenced BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar to life imprisonment. Along with this, a fine of Rs 25 lakh has also been imposed on the MLA, out of which 10 lakh victims will have to be given compensation, while Rs 15 lakh will be given to the prosecution.

For your information, let us tell you that in the year 2017, a case of gang rape was registered against MLA Kuldeep Sengar after kidnapping a minor girl, later it was revealed in the investigation that she was a minor. After this, the MLA was also prosecuted under POCSO. Kuldeep Singh Sengar became an MLA four times while staying in different parties. During this period, BSP, SP and BJP remained. After continuous victory Kuldeep Singh Sengar's image became that of a Bahubali leader.
