Three negotiators appointed by the Supreme Court of India Supreme Court will meet in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh area today to discuss the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to persuade the protesters. The meeting will take place at the house of team member Sanjay Hegde, in which Sadhana Ramachandran and former Chief Information Commissioner Wajahat Habibullah will set out a dialogue to persuade the protesters to agitate at an alternative location. The apex court has fixed February 24 for further hearing in the case.

There was confusion on the information of the arbitrators decided by the Supreme Court from Tuesday morning to reach Shaheen Bagh. Many questions have been arising among the protesters since the Supreme Court decided arbitration in Shaheen Bagh. The absence of any official person or organization in the performance is making people Akhar. No person is coming forward to answer the questions of the protesters. Protesters sitting on the streets for more than 65 consecutive days are upset.

To reach a conclusion about this demonstration, a PIL was filed by Nand Kishore Garg and Amit Sahni, appealing to direct the Center and other competent institutions to remove the protesters from Shaheen Bagh near Kalindi Kunj. The petition said that the protesters were protesting illegally in Shaheen Bagh by blocking the public road connecting Delhi and Noida. Hearing the case in the court, on February 17, three negotiators have been appointed to talk to the people to clear the road.
