In a public meeting against the Revised Citizenship Act (CAA) in Haj House, Mumbai, actor Sushant Singh said that the civic body and educated youths should be in villages to counter the agenda of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) should go. Hundreds of women had reached the program.

At the same time, actor Sushant Singh himself gave this information by tweeting and he alleged that, "Due to taking part in the demonstration against the citizenship law, he was removed from the show."
