In 2015, we witnessed power packed performance of Taapsee Pannu in Akshay Kumar starrer Baby. The makers of the film have come up with the spin-off of the film titled Naam Shabana. In the film the backstory of the girl being an agent will be shown.

If the rumours are to be believed then the director Neeraj Pandey is planning to make films focused on other pivotal characters which are played by Rana Daggubati, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa.

According to the source, "The original film featured a strong ensemble cast and there is a potential to explore the backstory of each of them. The makers have decided to explore that possibility."

Meanwhile, Naam Shabana is all set to release this Friday.
