Those parents preparing for the same NEET-UG 2020 exam, who live in Gulf countries like Doha, Qatar, etc., have filed Public Interest Litigation in the Supreme Court. About 4000 such candidates, who had registered for the examination from Qatar in the Middle East, are having difficulties in attesting documents from the Indian Embassy in Qatar. Amidst the ever-increasing cases of COVID-19 pandemic, there will be many other problems during the rules of international travel and thereafter in the mandatory 21-day quarantine center. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on the basis of these facts. The same has now been sought by the Supreme Court.
