Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia is one of the most popular actresses in the industry. During the promotion of the film, Neha has revealed that when she was pregnant in real life, she was expelled from some movies.
Talking to the media, Neha told that at the time of her first pregnancy, she had to lose some projects. Continuing her talk, the actress said, 'I had to create work at the time of Meher. I myself did my own podcasts and other non-fiction television shows. I was doing all this myself because getting pregnant was not a problem. I worked till the last minute, but the film industry changes. I was also a part of some projects before announcing my pregnancy.. so have I been kicked out of those projects? Yes... I was fired. Was there anything wrong with that? Physical changes happen and then you don't want to play that character or the people who hired you don't want you to look like that… it is like this!'
Talking about the casting of A Thursday, the actress further said, "I lost all the projects during the second wave (COVID-19). It was really my last attempt.'' I went to the meeting and told him, 'I am five months pregnant.' What do you want to do? Do you want to keep me or change me? This is your choice, this is your movie. It didn't take a minute for a few boys to say in a group that 'we don't want to change you.'
Talking about the film, 'A Thursday' has been released not in theatres but on the OTT platform Disney Plus HotStar. Yami Gautam is playing the role of a teacher in this film. Who binds 16 children and then demands money to talk to the PM.
