Neha Sharma is one of the renowned actresses in Bollywoood and South Industry.  She has made her mark among the people with her superb acting in Bollywood films Crook with Emraan Hashmi. Neha was born on 21 November 1987 in a political family in Bhagalpur, Bihar. She completed her early education at Mount Carmel School located in Bhagalpur.

Neha Sharma belongs to a political family. His father Ajit Sharma is the MLA of the Congress party from Bhagalpur in Bihar. Ajit Sharma was the candidate of Congress party from Bhagalpur assembly seat and he won. Neha moved to Delhi for her higher studies where she completed her graduation in Fashion Designing from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi

The actress is  also a trained Kathak dancer. She has trained in dance forms such as Street Hip Hop, Latin Dancing Salsa, Merengue, Jive, and Jazz from Pineapple Dance Studios in London. Neha Sharma had also reached Bhagalpur to seek votes for her father. She also did road shows in support of his father. Neha Sharma was very weak due to illness in childhood. She was very weak due to being an asthma patient in her childhood.

She has recovered from the disease and is doing well. Neha has a sister Ayesha, who has been a Kingfisher calendar girl. Ayesha Sharma is also an actress and made her Bollywood debut with John Abraham's film Satyamev Jayate.

On the career front, Neha made her debut in the Telugu film industry with the Telugu film Chirutha released in 2007. She made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with the Bollywood film Crook after playing the character of Hema in another Telugu film Kurradu in 2009. She has also featured, Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum (2012), Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story (2013), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013), Youngistaan (2014), Tum Bin 2 (2016), Mubarakan (2017), and Tanhaji (2020). Saroj Khan was 13 when she got married to 41 year old man, became mother at 14.
