Ranchi: The corona epidemic has wreaked havoc across the country. Earlier in the evening, a meeting of the Disaster Management Authority chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren was completed on Monday evening. The meeting of the Disaster Management Authority discussed the imposition of lockdown or semi lockdown in Jharkhand. Thereafter, new guidelines were issued.
According to reports, Chief Minister Soren had sought suggestions from all departments on the control of coronavirus in the state. Thereafter, the Health Department had sent its suggestion to the Disaster Management Authority at 16 points. While the suggestion recommended night curfew, other suggestions including the closure of schools, colleges as well as other educational institutions were also made. A number of important decisions were taken in the meeting, which will remain in force till January 15, 2022
1- All parks, swimming pools, gyms, zoos, tourist spots, sports stadiums will remain completely closed till January 15, 2022.
2- Schools, colleges, coaching institutes will remain closed till 15th January 2022 but these institutions will have administrative functions with 50% capacity.
3- Cinema halls, restaurants, bars and shopping malls will open with 50% capacity by January 15, 2022.
4- Restaurants, bars and drug shops will be closed at their normal time.
5- Most of the 100 people will be able to participate in the outdoor event.
6- Indoor events can be held with a capacity of 50% of the total capacity or 100, whichever is less.
7- Offices of government and private institutions will remain open with 50% capacity. Biometric attendance will be banned.
