Condition of people deteriorated in Punjab, 60 year old woman lost her life

Chandigarh: Coron-infected woman admitted to Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana, died late Saturday. The deceased was from Habibganj area of Ludhiana. Civil surgeon Dr Rajesh Bagga has confirmed the woman's death. So far 10 people have died in Ludhiana. The civil surgeon said that a 60-year-old woman resident of Habibganj was admitted to DMC Hospital on June 4.

The woman was suffering from pneumonia and blood pressure. She was put on a ventilator due to her condition. She died late on Saturday. So far, the total number of corona infected in Ludhiana has reached 247. The number of people belonging to other districts and states is 101. On Sunday, the Health Department has sent samples of 702 people for investigation. Screened 302 people. 199 people have been kept in quarantine. So far 164 people have returned home after getting well.

A report of the young man came positive late Saturday night in Fazilka. He has been admitted to the government hospital in Jalalabad. Samples of the people who came in contact with the victim have been sent for test. The young man resident of village Nihalkheda had reached Ludhiana by air from Gurugram. Samples were taken from the government hospital Sahnewal. The young man was in-home quarantine in the village Nihalkheda itself. His report has come positive. Samples of about 13 people who came in contact with the man have been sent to investigate.
