New Delhi: The police in Ghaziabad, adjacent to the national capital Delhi, have achieved great success. Police have arrested two vicious thieves who carried out a major burglary incident in a locked house in Sihani Gate Thanh area. However, another accused in the case is still absconding. Police claim he will be caught too soon.
After the arrest, the police also recovered Rs 10,76,000 from the thieves and necessary stolen documents. Ghaziabad SP City Shlok Kumar informed that "Punj lives with his entire family in Nehru Nagar colony of Sihani Gate police station area. On August 15, 2019, Pankaj had gone to his village with his entire family on the day of the Raksha Bandhan. In the meantime, the thieves broke the lock of the house and stole about Rs 13 lakh in cash and jewelry. A special team was formed to search for thieves."
Police have arrested two accused, Vinod and Ravindra, in the case. Both the accused are from Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh. Ghaziabad SP City has informed that another of his accomplices Sonu is absconding. Police is on the lookout for him.
