Starting April 2, travelers can now enjoy tri-weekly direct flights between Hyderabad and Ayodhya. G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister and Telangana BJP Chief, announced this exciting development. Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, offering enhanced convenience for pilgrims and air travelers alike.

The initiative came to fruition following Reddy's efforts to connect Hyderabad and Ayodhya. He reached out to Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of Civil Aviation, on February 26, proposing the addition of direct flights between the two cities. Thanks to these efforts, traveling along this route will now be significantly simpler for passengers.

Expressing his gratitude, Reddy took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to thank Scindia for his support. In a translated tweet, Reddy stated, "I am happy to inform that direct flight services will be started between Hyderabad and Ayodhya. I thank Scindia on this occasion" for his swift action in making this initiative a reality.

Currently, there are no direct flights available on this route. SpiceJet's upcoming service will be a major addition for travelers. Additionally, Alliance Air is considering operating flights on this route and is currently conducting trial flights for evaluation purposes.
