No parties post 9 pm on New Year in Ahmedabad due to 'Night curfew'

AHMEDABAD: Due to the increasing cases of Corona, now New Year Party has also been banned in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 31 December. Police ordered to cancel the night party and ceremony. DCP Control Harshad Patel has said that strict legal action will also be taken against the night party or celebrators.

Earlier, Corona was also eclipsed in Gujarat on Rath Yatra, Eid, Diwali, Dev Diwali. Now the effect of Corona is also seen on the party that takes place on Christmas and New Year's night. Night curfew has been increased by the state government to prevent the spread of corona epidemic. Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastava issued a new order after 15 days once again on December 8, in this order, it was said that till 9 pm till 6 am in the city of Ahmedabad till further orders from the government. The curfew will remain till noon.

DCP Control Harshad Patel said that on 31 December, Christmas and New Year celebrations will not be held after 9 pm. During the day, people will have to celebrate the New Year and Christmas by following the Corona Guidelines. Strict action will be taken against those who do not follow the rules.
