New Delhi: The winter session of Parliament is underway. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in the Lok Sabha that the government will not show any leniency towards non-governmental organizations (NGOs) who are trying to change the demography of the country and spread social disturbances with the help of foreign funding. He insisted that this is not the Congress, it is the Modi government.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah further said that some NGOs are trying to change the demography in the country by taking foreign funding. He said that there are some NGOs who are conspiring to harm Indian society. Amit Shah asserted in the Lok Sabha that the government will not show any mercy to NGOs trying to change the demography of the country. Action will be taken against organizations spreading social disturbances through foreign funding.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that organizations will have to abide by the Foreign Contribution Act (FCRA) and those who do not follow FCRA will be dealt with strictly. Foreign funding will now be monitored by the government. Amit Shah said, 'This is Narendra Modi's government, we will not allow a single penny to come into the country to destroy the country.'
