Thiruvananthapuram: In the campaign against terrorism, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) have taken major action today i.e. Thursday morning. In fact, it is reported that investigative agencies have raided the residences and offices of Popular Front of India (PFI) officials in about 10 states. During this, more than 100 cadres have been arrested. It has been reported that after this action, party workers in Karnataka, Kerala have protested fiercely. In fact, the NIA has searched the residences and official locations of those involved in funding terrorism, organizing training camps.

It has also been reported, quoting sources with knowledge of the matter, that the investigating agencies along with the state police have arrested more than 100 cadres in about 10 states. In fact, the investigating agencies have raided the houses of state and district level leaders of PFI. Along with this, this time agencies have also tightened the noose of party chairman Salam Parad in Manjeri in the Malappuram district. At the same time, the protest of party workers is going on in protest against the action against Salaam.

Today i.e. on Thursday, the workers gathered in large numbers and raised slogans fiercely. Not only this but apart from this NIA has also raided the residences of PFI officials in Tamil Nadu at many places including Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Ramnad, Dindugal, Theni and Thenkashi. Simultaneously, searches are also going on at the state headquarters of PFI in the capital Chennai. You know, even on Sunday, NIA had raided in different districts of Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, PFI members were taken for questioning.

With this, the investigating agency had taken action in cases related to inciting violence and illegal activities. During that time, 23 teams of NIA officers searched 38 locations in Nizamabad, Kurnool, Guntur and Nellore districts.
