NIA simultaneously raided 17 locations including UP-MP

New Delhi: NIA has once again taken a big action on the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI) in India. The investigating agency has simultaneously raided 17 locations of PFI in several states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. It is alleged that many Over Ground Workers (OGW) of PFI are once again taking steps in anti-national activities. According to sources, after PFI was banned and its top leaders went to jail, the organization has started the work of reorganizing and strengthening its workers.

The NIA team has also knocked in Motihari district of Bihar. The team has raided Kuawa village of Chakia. The raid took place at the house of Sajjad Ansari of Kuvwa village. Sajjad is working in Dubai for the last 14 months. This action has been taken on the instructions of Irshad, a resident of Harpur Kishuni, who has already been arrested. The NIA team has taken away Sajjad's Aadhaar, PAN card and other documents during the raid.

Let us tell you that in the last year 2022, the Central Government had banned the Popular Front of India (PFI). Center has banned the organization for 5 years. Actually, many states had demanded to ban PFI. Apart from PFI, the Center has supported Rehab India Foundation (RIF), Campus Front of India (CFI), All India Imam Council (AIIC), National Confederation of Human Rights Organization (NCHRO), National Women Front, Junior Front, Empower India Foundation and Rehab India Foundation. The Foundation was also banned. Even before this, the NIA and the police and agencies of all the states raided PFI bases and made hundreds of arrests.

PFI is active in 15 states:-
PFI is currently active in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Kerala, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh.
