New Delhi: The outbreak of Corona is still going on, due to which people all over the world will not be able to welcome the new year 2021 in the way it used to do every year. New Year celebrations have been banned in the capital due to Corona epidemic. Night curfew will remain in Delhi from 11 am to 6 pm on 31 December and 1 January.
DDMA has issued this order due to the rush to celebrate New Year in view of Corona. No more than 5 people can gather at a public place. No New Year celebrations or programs will be allowed. License Place will not come under the purview of Public Place. Today is the last day of the year 2020. This whole year was lost to the corona epidemic. The New Year will have to be welcomed amidst many restrictions in many countries of the world and various states of India.
The Union Health Ministry has directed all the states to keep a strict vigil on the events for the New Year celebrations. He believes that such events can prove to be potential super spreaders for the corona epidemic. The Ministry has issued necessary guidelines regarding prevention of coronavirus infection in the winter season, to prevent the gathering of crowds.
