"The film 'Aan' was supposed to premiere in London, where I went. Many big stars from all over the world were present at this premiere, where actor Errol Flynn was also there, who was receiving the team of the film 'Aan'. Seeing me, Errol tried to kiss me on my hand, only then I did back away. Then I told him, 'Don't you know that I am an Indian girl?' The next day, the newspaper's headline read,' The un-kissed girl of India'. Because of my fame, I was offered many films in Hollywood, but I refused to work. Nimmi passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 88.
