We are talking about a boundary breaker fashion designer Nimrat Kahlon who hails from Punjab but is working on the lines of National designers.The scale of her work is as promising and as mammoth as leading fashion designers Manish Malhotra, Neeta Lulla and Sabyasachi Mukherjee which is why Nimrat Kahlon is turning out to be the Sabyasachi of Punjab.

On breaking the mould and pushing the regional boundaries Nimrat remarks "I  believe it's time to seek space into the International arena because what distinguishes our clothes from the rest of the world is the heritage value they carry. They are resplendent and outlandish".

Her clothes derive heavily from the traditional patterns and forms of clothing but there is a significant appeal that makes them relatable today. "The inimitable craft practices of India are getting acknowledged globally. Many homegrown labels are making their way to the International ramp. The designers in Punjab have so much to offer" affirms Nimrat. Nimrat's design aesthetics are not limited to any particular region. She is exponentially working on catering to the audience that enjoys cross-cultural ethos in their dressing sense. Nimrat is committed to make big waves with her promising and enticing work.
