New Delhi: The trend of the case of Nirbhaya, which has been going on continuously for the last several days, seems to be changing again. On the other hand, Nirbhaya convict Vinay has filed a fresh petition in Patiala House Court through his lawyer in which he has said that he is mentally ill and needs high-level treatment. As per this, AP Singh has said in the application that Vinay has suffered not only mild head injuries but also fractures in his right hand. He is mentally ill and has schizophrenia and therefore should be referred to the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (Ihabas) Hospital.
