From January, Nissan India increased the pricing of its Magnite and Kicks models. Certain models of both SUVs have seen a price increase of up to Rs 25,000 . The price increases, according to Nissan, were forced by growing parts costs, among other factors.

The Nissan Magnite had a starting price of 4.99 lakh when it was released in late 2020. (ex-showroom). Before the price increase, the Kicks SUV was priced at Rs. 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Nissan Magnite SUV prices now start at 5.76 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec XV Premium Turbo CVT model with the recent price rise. Before the change, the pricing of Magnite started at 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom) and went up to 9.89 lakh. Magnite variants have had a maximum increase of Rs 9,000.

When it was first released, the Nissan Magnite was India's most cheap SUV. Later, its competitor Renault Kiger won the championship, only to lose it again lately due to a price increase. For base variants, the price difference between the Magnite and the Kiger is currently only around Rs 3,000.

The five-seat Nissan Kicks SUV, on the other hand, has seen a price increase this month. Nissan introduced the Kicks SUV with Turbo option in India in 2020. Since then, the beginning price has been set at Rs. 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec 1.3 Turbo XV Premium CVT model was initially priced at 14.15 lakh (ex-showroom), but then increased to Rs 14.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

The price of the basic SUV type has remained unchanged since the most recent increase. Higher-end variations, on the other hand, have seen at least a 20,000-percentage-point increase. The increases are most noticeable in the Kicks versions with the 1.3-litre engine. The highest model has seen a 25,000-rupee price increase, and now costs Rs 14.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
