Renault has increased the pricing of two of its most popular models in India. The Kiger subcompact SUV and the Triber MPV also got price increases this month, bringing the total cost of these two vehicles to over 30,000 euros.

According to Renault's official website, the entry-level RXE manual edition of the Kiger sub-compact SUV now begins at Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Kiger's base variant was previously priced at Rs 5.64 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it over 15,000 more expensive.

In February of last year, Renault unveiled the Kiger SUV in India. The SUV was launched at a price of 5.45 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most cheap sub-compact SUV on the market. With a starting price of 5.76 lakh, Kiger's technological cousin Nissan Magnite has become the most cheap sub-compact SUV with the recent price rise (ex-showroom).

The 1.0-litre RXT EASY-R automated dual tone model has the biggest price increase, at $29,000. It is now priced at Rs. 8.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Almost all Kiger subcompact SUV versions have seen a price increase. The 1.0-litre RXZ X-TRONIC Turbo with CVT model has had the smallest price increase, rising by 10,960 rupees to 9.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Renault Triber MPV, which received a four-star rating in the Global NCAP crash testing last year and is considered one of India's safest seven-seater vehicles, has also seen major price increases. For some Triber variants, the price has risen by approximately 30,000 dollars.

The RXE trim of the Triber MPV has gotten the lowest price increase of all the versions. After the prices were changed to 5.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) from 5.50 lakh before, it is now $19,000 more expensive.

Triber's automatic models have seen the most price increases. The RXL EASY-R, RXT EASY-R, RXZ EASY-R, and RXZ EASY-R dual tone automatic models have all been raised by 29,800 dollars. The RXZ EASY-R dual tone auto is the top-of-the-line model.
