New Delhi: In Modi Sarkar 2.0, Minister Nitin Gadkari has said that the government will strengthen the micro, small and medium ministry industries sector to generate 5 crore jobs. With this, the share of this ministry in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will also increase to 50 percent from the current 29 percent. Gadkari said that the emphasis of the government is to promote economic activities in the country as well as to strengthen the rural economy again.
Referring to PM Modi's goal of making India a 5-trillion economy, Gadkari said that to achieve this, my ministry will also work on generating five crore jobs in the next five years. Describing the broad gauge metro as an economical, efficient and time-saving option, Gadkari said that this would reduce the pressure on metros like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Road Transport and Highway Construction Minister Gadkari has said that we are going to start broad gauge metro in our constituency Nagpur also.
He said that this metro will connect Nagpur to Wardha, Bhandara Road, Ramtek and Narkhed. Running the metro on the broad gauge should be considered, as it makes travel between cities and its satellite cities economical. For example, people can live in Meerut or Panipat and can easily go to Delhi for work every day, so it is beneficial for the city as well as the passengers.
