Lucknow: In view of the proposed assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday (December 20, 2021) termed nationalism, good governance, and development as his priority and said that his promise is an indelible mark, in the coming 5 years, UP's roads will not compete with the European standard, but the US. Gadkari roared that he does not lie, he does what he says.
Gadkari said this while addressing an election function in Jaunpur. During this, he gave projects worth about 1500 crores to the state. Gadkari said that he has a ministry where there is no shortage of money. Giving a clear message to the states, he said that states will get tired of asking, but their ministry does not give. Talking about the development of UP, Gadkari said that in the coming five years, works worth five lakh crores will be done here.
Taking this forward, he appealed to the people of UP that they just have to bring the Yogi government back to power. Describing himself as a farmer, the Union Minister appealed to the farmers to become energy donors instead of providers. He said that since 2007, he was saying that farmers should become energy donors and today ethanol is being produced in Uttar Pradesh on the same model. Gadkari promised that within the next three months, Toyota, Suzuki, Hyundai, Mercedes, and BMW flex engines will be manufactured, which will benefit the farmers. Gadkari also told that the advantage of the flex engine is that the vehicles will run even if 100% ethanol is used in it.
