Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is likely to contest from the Phulpur Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister and Apna Dal (S) leader Ashish Patel has made a big statement. He has said that Nitish Kumar contests from anywhere in Uttar Pradesh, and it is not going to make any difference. Minister Patel has said that in all the elections from 2014 to 2022, the people have won the BJP and its allies.

Ashish Patel had told that due to the people, the NDA government was formed for the first time at the centre in 2014 and after that, the people have stamped the policies of Prime Minister Modi continuously. He has said that even in 2024, NDA has no competition with any party or alliance. Let us know that there are talks of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar contesting from the Phulpur seat of Prayagraj. On this, JDU national president Rajiv Ranjan Lalan Singh gave a statement and said - If the people of Phulpur want, we respect them, but whether Nitishji will fight or not, it is up to him. He further said that if Akhilesh Yadav and Nitish Kumar meet in Uttar Pradesh, then the atmosphere can change in 2024.

Ashish Patel has also retaliated against this statement of Lalan Singh. Patel said that everyone has the right to contest elections in a democracy, but there has never been a bigger alliance in UP than the Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party. Its results are also in front of everyone. He said that the opposition parties have done a lot of experiments. Wait further.
