Patna: There has been a lot of speculation about Bihar CM Nitish Kumar going to the Rajya Sabha. It is also being said that the BJP may send Nitish Kumar to the Rajya Sabha to make him its Chief Minister in Bihar. Now, the JD(U) has come clean on these reports as rumours.
JDU leader and Bihar Minister Sanjay Kumar Jha tweeted, "I am shocked by the kind of rumour that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is considering going to the Rajya Sabha. It is a mischievous rumour and is far from reality. Nitish Kumar has the mandate to serve Bihar and will continue his entire term as CM. He's not going anywhere.''
Sanjay Kumar Jha further wrote, "Nitish Kumar was the face of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections in 2020. It was on this basis that people voted for the alliance and brought it to power. He has an unwavering commitment to serving the people and has the potential to transform Bihar.'' I urge everyone to stay away from this kind of disinformation. In fact, recently Nitish Kumar had said in a discussion with the media that he has been a member of three Houses, only the Rajya Sabha is left. After Nitish Kumar's statement, speculations were made that Nitish Kumar could be sent to the Rajya Sabha.
