Tiruppur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the constituents of the opposition alliance INDIA have accepted defeat. But, their intention is to loot Tamil Nadu. Modi met Bharatiya Janata Party state unit president K. Speaking at the concluding event of Annamalai's statewide visit, he said that in the last 10 years, the Center has given more funds to Tamil Nadu than before. Modi's earlier comparison indirectly meant the UPA rule at the Centre.

The Prime Minister tried to convey the message of development for all by raising the slogan 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. He said, 'When Modi works, he works for everyone. None of the constituent parties of the opposition alliance speaks about development or education. They are just worried about their families. He said that former CM late MGR did not do dynastic politics. DMK's dynastic politics termed as an insult to Ramachandran. Prime Minister Modi said that MGR promoted people on the basis of talent and not on the basis of family. If there was anyone after MGR, it was 'Amma' Jayalalitha ji, who devoted her entire life for the welfare of the people. 

Criticizing the opposition, he said that those who looted Tamil Nadu for decades are now scared of the growing power of the BJP. The Prime Minister said, 'They want to save their power by telling lies, dividing people and making people fight among themselves. The people of Tamil Nadu are as intelligent as they are pure at heart. They know the truth. I have an emotional connect with Tamil Nadu. 'Sengol' has been established in the Parliament to honor the great heritage of the country as well as the state. Bharatiya Janata Party does not have a single member from Tamil Nadu in the current Lok Sabha.
