Meanwhile, the police are looking out for the complainant's sister. CCTV footage nearby hospital is also being verified which showed the woman's sister leaving hospital. It was learned that the two women consumed toddy three days before the incident. On the other hand, the suspects Uma Maheshwar and security guards are being questioned who alleged that they have no connection with the case. The police expedited the investigation as home minister Mahmood Ali personally monitoring the case.

According to the incident, a woman had alleged that she was abducted and sexually assaulted by an employee at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. The incident came to light on Monday when he contacted the police. On coming to know, the woman along with her sister went to Gandhi Hospital to see her brother-in-law to the doctor on August 4, when a staff member identified as Uma Maheshwar locked the two sisters in a room and kept them away for four days. till he sexually assaulted her. The woman also said that she managed to escape the accused and her sister went missing. It is learned that the woman approached the Mahbubnagar Town-I police and later lodged a complaint with the Chilkalguda police.
