In fact, the process of online nomination/recommendation for Sardar Patel Rashtriya Ekta Puraskar is currently underway. Nominations/recommendations are available online on the website nationalunityawards.mha.gov.in of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Let us tell you that this is the highest civilian award given in the field of contribution to the unity and integrity of the country. The government of the country has launched this award in the name of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Award appreciates the remarkable and inspiring contribution made in promoting national unity and integrity and strengthening the value of a strong and united India. Any citizen of India, and any institution/organization of India shall be eligible to receive the award without any discrimination on the basis of religion, species, caste, men and women, place of birth, age or occupation.
Any Indian citizen or institution or organization located in the country can nominate any person or institution or organization to consider the name recommended for the award. Individuals/institutions/organizations can also enroll themselves. State Governments, Union Territory Administration and Central Government Ministries can also send nominations for the award.
